This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the Jambo End User License Agreement and Terms of Use. The term “Jambo,” “we,” and “us” includes LJS Digital Ltd. and our affiliates and subsidiaries. The Privacy Policy explains how Jambo may: collect, use, and disclose information we obtain through the Service. All other terms not defined herein will have the meanings set forth in the EULA.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, the data controller is LJS Digital ltd of 42 Brimsome Meadow, Highnam Gloucester, GL2 8EW

“Personal Information (PI)” means information that alone or when in combination with other information may be used to readily identify, contact, or locate you, such as: name, address, email address, or phone number. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual.


We collect PI when you log in with social networking credentials; use the functionality of the App; and communicate with us. We also collect information, such as anonymous usage statistics, by using cookies, server logs, and other similar technology as you use the App.

Social Sign-On. We collect PI from your Social Networks when you use your Social Network credentials to log into the App. For example, when you log in with your Facebook credentials, we collect the PI you have made publicly available in Facebook, such as your name, location, nationality, email address and profile picture. We will also collect other information you have authorized your Social Networks to share with us, such as your hometown, gender, age, events, public friends, education and profession.

Using the Service. We collect information you post through the App. For example, when you interact with other Users by sending them Messages, the App will collect the information you provide in such submissions, including any PI.

Support. We may collect PI through your communications with our support teams.

Location Information from Your Mobile Device. We will collect and may store your location information if you enable your mobile device to send it to us. Collection of this information will help us to improve the provision of the App.

Cookies, Automatic Data Collection, and Related Technologies. The App collects and stores information that is generated automatically as you use it, including your preferences and anonymous usage statistics. When you use the App, We and our third-party service providers, receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and from cookies and similar technology. Cookies are small text files placed in visitors’ computer browsers to store their preferences. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the App may not work properly. By using the App, you are authorizing us to gather, parse, and retain data related to the provision of the App.


We use PI to facilitate and improve our services; and communicate with you. We may use aggregated and anonymised information for any purpose, including for marketing purposes.

We will only ever share your PI with third parties after having obtained your express consent to do so. You may ask us to stop using your PI for this purpose at any point by contacting us as set out in this privacy policy.

Internal and Service-Related Usage. We use information, including PI, for internal and service-related purposes only and may provide it to third parties to allow us to facilitate the App. We may use and retain any data we collect to provide and improve our services.

Communications. We may send emails to the email address you provide to us to verify your account and for informational and operational purposes, such as account management, customer service, or system maintenance.

Marketing. Subject to obtaining your consent to do so, we may rent, sell, or share PI about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes. We may also use information, including PI, to provide online advertising on the Service and to facilitate transmittal of information that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest to you.

Aggregate Data. We may anonymize and aggregate data collected through the App and use it for any purpose.


Subject to obtaining your consent to do so, we may share your information with our third-party service providers; to comply with legal obligations; to protect and defend our rights and property. We may rent, sell, or share PI about you with other parties or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes.

Service Providers. We may share any information we receive with service providers retained in connection with the provision of the App.

Displaying to Other Users. Your Profile will be displayed to other Users. We are not responsible for privacy practices of the other Users who will view and use the posted information.

Inviting Friends. The App may allow you to share information, including PI, with social networking websites when you invite friends to use the App. We do not share your PI with them unless you direct the App to share it. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.

As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your PI, other account information, and content if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; respond to your requests; or protect yours’, ours’ or others’ rights, property, or safety.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, then your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. The use of your PI following any of the foregoing events should be governed by the provisions of this Privacy Policy in effect, at the time such PI was collected. We may also disclose your PI with your permission.


We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure. By using the App or providing PI to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the App. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you by sending an email to you.


We do not knowingly collect or maintain PI from children under 13 and no part of the App is directed to children under the age of 13. We will take steps to delete such information if we learn we have collected it. If we learn that we have collected any PI from children under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.


The data that We collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). By submitting your PI, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

By choosing to use the App or otherwise provide information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy, will be governed by the laws and regulations of the United Kingdom and the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with the App will be in accordance with the EULA. If you are visiting from countries outside of the United Kingdom please note that you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the United Kingdom and processing globally. By providing your information you consent to any transfer and processing in accordance with this Policy.


You have the right to ask us to cease processing your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you (before collecting your data) if We intend to use your data for such purposes or if We intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise this right at any time by contacting us as outlined in this policy.

We may revise this Privacy Policy, so review it periodically. We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy and the revised version will be effective when it is posted.

New Uses of Personal Information. From time to time, we may desire to use PI for uses not previously disclosed in our Privacy Policy. If our practices change regarding previously collected PI then we will notify you of such changes when you next start an App. You will be given the option to accept or decline the updated use.

Access to information

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with that Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information We hold about you.
